Evolence™ has also undergone additional extensive safety testing. Is a pre-test necessary? Evolence™ is a natural product and due to the Glymatrix™ technology it is able to mimic the properties of the natural collagen found in the skin. Therefore, while an allergic reaction is theoretically possible, it is extremely rare. Pre-testing is not a prerequisite to treatment with Evolence™ . Patients with a history of hypersensitivity, particularly know allergies to collagen, should consult their doctor. Can I have Evolence™ treatment if I am pregnant or breast-feeding? The use of Evolence™ during pregnancy or breast-feeding has not been tested, and is therefore not recommended. Can the treated area be exposed to sunlight or extreme cold? During the first few days after treatment, exposure to extremes of temperature or to strong sunlight should be avoided to reduce the risk of inflammation.

How would I receive my treatment of Evolence™ ?

Before treatment the injection site is prepared with an anaesthetic cream to minimize discomfort and pain. Evolence™ is then introduced via a fine needle just below the skin surface -- the implant is slowly injected under the wrinkle as the needle is withdrawn. The treatment should only take between 30 and 60 minutes and the results are visible immediately.

How long do the effects of Evolence™ last?
